Brief introduction: The 5A molecular sieve can adsorb any molecule smaller than the pore size,commonly referred to as a calcium molecular sieve. It can adsorb C3-C4 normal alkanes, chloroethane, bromoethane, butanol, etc. in addition to the functions of 3a and 4a molecular sieves, and can be applied to the separation of normal isomeric hydrocarbons, pressure swing adsorption separation, and co-adsorption of water and carbon dioxide.Zeolite Molecular Sieve 5A for Insulating Glass Gas Drying can be worked with desiccant filler 1

5A Molecular Sieve, has an effective pore opening of 5 angstroms(0.5nm).

It will adsorb molecules with a kinetic diameter of less than 5 angstrom and exclude those larger.

It has high select adsorption and fast adsorption speed.

Typical Application:

a) The various sizes of O2, H2, CO2 and other gas PSA devices.

b) Separation of normal paraffin and isoparaffin.

c) The purification of air, dehydration and carbon dioxide removal.

d) The drying of natural gas, dehydration and desulphurization.

Storage:room temperature;Relative humidity is not more than 90%;Should not be directly exposed to the air;Avoid water,acid and alkali.

 

Regeneration:

1. Moisture removal:depending on the temperature,pressure and water content of the gas.In general,the dry gas at 200-350℃ passes through the molecular sieve bed at a pressure of 0.3-0.5kg/cm2 for 3-4 hours,bringing the outlet temperature to 110-180℃ and cooling.

2. Removal of organic matter:replace organic matter with water vapor,and then remove water.

Application

1) Drying and removing of CO2 from natural gas, LPG, air, inert and athmospheric gases, etc. 2) Removal of hydrocarbons, ammonia and methanol from gas streams (ammonia syn gas treating) 3) Special types are used in the air break units of buses, trucks and locomotives. 4) Packed in small bags, it may be used simply as a packaging desiccant.
